Every student of SBTTC is enrolled as a member of the Alumni Association. This association meets from time to time and arranges get-togethers, functions and other events involving the alumni. An Alumni database is also maintained in the College office. Alumni are encouraged to visit the college and maintain their links with the staff and friends and work towards college development.
We take this opportunity to invite all our ex-students to join our Alumni Association and share their experiences and motivate others to emulate their path of success.
Alumni Meet- SANGAM-2014
There is no doubt that the students of SBTTC are the strength on which the institute is built. On leaving the portals of SBTTC, they test their teaching skills in the real world. The annual Alumni Meet provides a platform for the alumni to come back to their alma mater and share their experiences with the current batch of students.
On 22nd Feb. 2014 SBSS organized alumni meet which was given name as “Sangam”. Mr. Gajendra Sujediya was the coordinator of the event. Event was started with saraswati vandana and lighting of lamp by chairman SBSS, Er. Bhagirath Poonia, Campus Director Prof. Iqraz nabi Khan, Managing Director, Mr. Jagdish Poonia and Principal SBTTC, Dr. Manju Parashar.
Chairman sir, Er. Bhagirath Poonia address the alumni members with his words which described the infrastructure as well as the academic growth of institution from the day it was sown to till date.
After the addressing of Chairman SBSS,Er. Bhagirath Poonia Campus Director Iqraz Nabi Khan shared the history of the institution.
Thereafter, a very enlightened welcome speech was given by our Principal SBTTC, Dr. Manju Parashar. She highlighted the achievements of the students in curricular and co curricular activities. Dr. Manju Parashar enthralled the audience comprising of present batch students as well as the alumnus with her anecdotes. She along with Dr. Suman Choudhary felicitated the previous years academic achievers. Ms. Dimple Kaviya & Ms. Anju Kumari and few of the other previous years students shared their experiences to the present batch.
Various cultural performance added stars to the glamour of the event. After the cultural event, memento were given to the alumni and asked for their precious ideas which would help for the betterment of the institution. Many alumni expressed their thoughts and memories and interacted with current students.
The event was followed by lunch and ended with a group photo.
Alumni Meet Report 2013
Sri Balaji Teachers Training College is proud of its competent and successful ex-students who passed out from this college and placed themselves at various positions and in different places. Alumni Association member consists of students who passed out from SBTTC.
The Alumni Meet 2012-13 was held on the 25th May, 2013. The program started at 2.30 pm.
The program started with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal SBTTC, Dr. Manju Parshar.
Prayer song was presented by the students of the B.Ed. and M.Ed. It was followed by Welcome Speech given by Mrs. Rashmi Gautam. Our Principal Dr. Manju Parshar also welcomed the Alumni formally. She also applauded and appreciated the academic achievers who were also the special invitees for the program. To encourage the current batch of the B.Ed. and M.Ed., the Principal talked about the hard work put in by the academic achievers.
At the Alumni Meet the students of the Extension Work presented a skit on the topic “Violence Against Women”. The skit was beautifully presented with a strong message in it. Students also prepared posters depicting violence against women and also messages encouraging women to take a stand in fighting against the injustice done to women.
The program ended with vote of thanks presented by the President, Dimpel Kaviya.
The program ended with the National Anthem.
The Alumni was overwhelmed meeting their old friends and recollecting their good experiences at SBTTC. The Alumni had a nice time dancing with each other and with the teacher educators at the Alumni Meet 2012-13.
